La versione originale comunque, quella di Emra, ci fa assaggiare il vero e proprio soul e r&b di allora, nello stile tipico della tradizione delle grandi cantanti di colore. Nessuna forzatura o spianamento di voce, nè gesti plateali; solo buona musica, ben cantata, con stile e trasporto. La versione di Dusty, nel tempo è stata la più fedele all'originale, e solo recentemente, ho potuto, dopo anni, riascoltare un'interprete che mi è piaciuta, Mary J. Blige, nel video, live.
